CA Same-Sex Marriage in 2010 or 2012? Tennis Anyone?

Sean Chapin nails it. Civil rights should never be put to “the will of the people”. We shouldn’t have to repeatedly beg people to allow us the rights they take for granted, and we should already have as our birthright.

Disagree? Still think fundamental rights should be the subject of a ballot measure? Then put your rights to “the will of the people”. Otherwise you have no business even suggesting the rights of LGBT people should be subject to a popular vote.
