Without the Bible There is No Objective Morality.
That is what I’ve been told countless times. Without God and the Bible there is no Objective Morality. Anything goes. People would be lawless, doing as they pleased, responsible for nothing. It would be utter anarchy because there would be no standards.
Steve Anderson believes in the Bible. Steve Anderson says that it would not be murder if somebody took a machine gun and killed a bunch of gay people. He claims it was not murder when Dr. George Tiller was gunned down in cold blood in his own church. Steve then says he wants Michelangelo Signorile to get brain cancer and die. (Hat Tip, The Freethinker)
Are these supposed to be examples of the “Objective Morality” of the Bible? If so, is it any wonder so many of us find them barbaric and reject them outright? Is it any wonder so many of us find nothing objective or moral about them?
